NEW ITEM: KWA Board of Directors July 16th Meeting Recap
- Traffic and parking study funded by KWA was tabled pending results of current City study of noontime and First Friday parking and traffic. Study expected to be completed by the end of August. City considering event parking (residents only during events) with First Friday designated as event.
- July 4th saw numerous SAPD officers, including Vice Squad, monitoring First Friday crowd, alcohol and loud music. Several citations were issued for open containers, traffic and parking violations; one man was arrested for open container and arguing with the officer. An ambulance was on hand but unused. Neighbors reported unusually loud music from Casbeer's and King Willie's.
- An additional $3,000 was authorized for the INSCO mural; completion expected by end of August.
